Coordinated by the Asst Director of Building Operations, Street Light Management is the liaison between the Utility Providers, Developers, Citizens and the City of Charleston, to ensure Street Light Standards are met.

Energy Management
The City of Charleston is partnered with Johnson Controls International in an energy management performance contract. Through this effort, the City has saved $4.4 million dollars in the past seven years and is projected to save an additional $21 million dollars over the next fifteen years.

The Cross-Connection Control Program ensures SCDHEC and CPW rules and regulations are met to protect drinking water in all City Buildings and Parks.
