Micro Sports help children 4-6 learn the basic skills of each sport prior to joining competitive play.

Start smart focuses are teaching your children the proper technique for kicking, hitting, catching and throwing a ball.

"Family Time" Unit: "Here, There and Everywhere"
The five sub-themes center around different family outings: a visit with a friend, an outing at the park, a trip to the city, an afternoon at the aquarium, and a day on the farm. Move like animals with this unit’s story Flip-Flap, Sugar Snap!

Suzuki "Twinkler" and Traditional Violin Lessons
Hazel Parker Playground
The Suzuki method, especially designed for the very young beginner, encourages the child to listen and imitate sounds just as we learn to speak. Beginning at age 3, students play on miniature violins. A performance ends the semester! Traditional violin lessons are also available for the older child through adult. Beginner & Advanced. All class times will be arranged at your convenience by the instructor.

Hola Amigos
An intro to the Spanish Language for children ages 2-3. Children will learn the language through songs, games and activities.

Junior Cotillion
Southern Protocol is pleased to offer Junior Cotillion. Classes are divided into a Level I for fifth and sixth grade students and Level II for seventh and eighth grade students. The Level I class will end with a small dance celebration and the Level II will end with a dinner & dance celebration. Each student will receive a notebook filled with handouts for each etiquette lesson and the dances they will learn. Southern Protocol offers children the opportunity to experience the joy of ballroom dancing and etiquette in an engaging and approachable atmosphere specifically designed for middle school students. The Cotillion training, learning both the technical aspects & social aspects of the dances and etiquette, builds confidence and self-esteem in each child that will transfer to high school, college, and adulthood.

Petite Protocol Summer 2010 Camp by Southern Protocol
Camp includes all supplies, afternoon snack, interactive and fun manners lessons that build self-esteem and self-confidence. We will cover proper introductions, body language, sending invitations, responding and writing a perfect thank you note, party manners, sportsmanship, phone/technology manners, and table manners including Continental vs. American style's of eating. Each day is filled with arts and crafts and games as we navigate both proper social skills and technical etiquette!

Youth Fishing Program
Come out and fish the beautiful waters of the Charleston Harbor while learning fishing skills and aquatic education. This 6 week program will cover casting, knot tying, fish identification, ethics, regulations and water safety.

21st Century Fitness: Beyond Pilates
A Pilates based formula of exercise to get in shape, maintain fitness and stay young at any age
WHEN: Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9am to 9:45am. Choose a schedule that works for you!
WHO: For Beginners or Advanced, Young or Mature, the Fit or Unfit. Positions are modified to your fitness level.
COST: $10 per class or $30 for 4 classes.

Taiko Drumming

Drumming within a Taiko Ensemble is an exhilarating workout for the body and spirit. These beginning classes will weave traditional and modern rhythms into dynamic music of celebration.
