Long Savannah Development Plans Available for Review

A unique opportunity for creating an urban edge to the City--while providing residents with new places to live, work, shop and go to school--is developing in the outer portions of West Ashley.
The Long Savannah development team has submitted final plans for review by the City of Charleston. The The City of Charleston been discussing plans for potential development west of Bees Ferry Road for over 2 years. During this time, the City and development team has sought input from the public in the form of public workshops and neighborhood meetings. The plans has been finalized and are ready to be formally submitted for approval by the City.
The public process will continue with the following meetings:
June 4, 5:00pm - Planning Commission Meeting
City Hall, 80 Broad Street
June 17, 5:00pm - City Council Meeting
City Hall, 80 Broad Street
The public may come to the offices of the Department of Planning, Preservation & Economic Innovation (75 Calhoun Street, Third Floor) to review the following submitted documents:
Long Savannah Development Agreement
Long Savannah Planned Unit Development (PUD) Document
Village Green Development Agreement
Village Green PUD Amendment
