Patrol Areas
Team One serves the area of the Peninsula City on a line north of Calhoun Street to the North Charleston City line between the Cooper River and the Ashley River.

Patrol Team Two serves the area of the Peninsula City on a line south of Calhoun Street between the Cooper River and the Ashley River. Team Two also serves Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor.

Patrol Team Three serves major portions of James Island and some areas of Johns Island, including the Charleston Executive Airport.

Patrol Team Four serves major portions of the St. Andrews / West Ashley areas of the city and extends from the Intercoastal Waterway on Charleston Harbor to Magnolia Gardens on State Highway 61 and on Main Road and U.S. Highway 17, between the Ashley River and the Stono River to Rantowles Creek.

Patrol Team Five (formerly "Team 10") was established in January 2002, and serves Daniel Island, Thomas Island, Rodden Island, and portions of Clements Ferry Rd. (Hwy 33), Cainhoy Road (Hwy 98), and areas adjacent to Hwy 41.

Patrol Team Six, referred to as Special Units, provides support services for all of the City of Charleston.

Patrol Team Seven consists of the Traffic Division,Safety Service, and Harbor Patrol. This team handles all traffic enforcement throughout the City with the ultimate goal of accident reduction and pedestrian safety. Under the Investigations Bureau, consists of Central Investigations Detectives (Crimes Against Persons, Burglary, Auto-Theft, Domestic Violence, Computer Crimes Unit, Juvenile Unit), Narcotics Division.
