Charleston Civic Design Center: 85 Calhoun Charleston, SC 29401
From the skyline down to the waterline, Charleston is a city shaped by water.
The h2oly city photography competition and exhibition aimed to promote awareness of the role of water in our lifestyle and how it influences Charleston’s civic environment. The Charleston Civic Design Center was pleased to host the H2Oly City Photography Exhibition. This free exhibit showcased 107 entries from photographers in and around the Charleston region who entered their photos in the H2Oly City Photography Competition. The winning works in Open and Youth classifications were announced at the public opening on May 15th, here at the Charleston Civic Design Center (85 Calhoun Street). The winners were chosen by a jury of three distinguished local photographers based on the criteria of aesthetic quality, composition, and the photograph’s ability to illustrate the relationship between water and Charleston.
In addition, all attendees at the opening event were given an opportunity to place their vote for the Peoples’ Choice Award.
