The City of Charleston Tennis Division operates public tennis courts and offers USTA sanctioned leagues at nearly every National Tennis Rating Program level, lessons by Tennis Professionals for a nominal fee, as well as the nationally-recognized Inner City Youth "Courting Kids" Tennis Program, a program geared to provide low cost tennis instruction for Inner City youth ages 5 to 17.

The Charleston Tennis Center (West Ashley)
15 hard-court complex which has hosted tennis tournaments ranging from city championships to National Collegiate Finals.

The Maybank Tennis Center (James Island)
8 lighted hard courts and 3 clay courts

The Moultrie Tennis Center (Broad & Ashley Downtown)
6 lighted hard courts.

Jack Adams Tennis Center
(Downtown Near Hagood Stadium)
6 Lighted Hardcourts

Alan Fleming Tennis Complex (Johns Island)

LEAGUES

USTA Leagues
The Charleston and Maybank Tennis Centers sponsor teams in all USTA sponsored adult, senior, super senior, mixed doubles, combo and singles leagues. Registration for adult teams takes place in December/January and August/ September. Registration for mixed doubles takes place in April/May. USTA Combo teams register in July/August. Senior, Super Senior and Singles teams also register in August/September. League teams may add to team rosters at any time.

CALTA League
The Charleston Area Ladies Tennis Association sponsors leagues on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. at 5 levels. The all-doubles leagues plays at various clubs and centers throughout the Charleston area. Registration takes place throughout the summer. Matches start mid-August.
