The Charleston Tennis Center offers everything for the tennis enthusiast from lessons to novice tournaments to USTA rated leagues. A nominal fee is charged for court use.
Reservations recommended.

HEAD TENNIS PRO - Fredrik Andersson
Fredrik Andersson is originally from Sweden and has been the Head Pro for the Charleston Tennis Center for the last six years. Prior to coming to the Charleston Tennis Center, Andersson spent seven years as Head Pro for the Durlach Tennis Club in Karlsruhe, Germany. Fredrik graduated from Lander College, where his team won the NAIA National Championship and he received All-American honors three times in a row. Andersson hopes to help children in the programs improve their game and achieve a South Carolina State ranking.

CLINIC DESCRIPTIONS
Aces Ages 3-5 years Using the Quick Start Program from USTA, we playfully teach your child good balance, throwing, catching, hand-eye coordination and footwork. We use many different games to keep it interesting to your child.
Tues & Thurs 4:15-5pm
$40 per session/once a week
$75 per session/twice a week

Smashers Ages 6-7 years The Smashers will be using the Quickstart Program, the latest teaching method to get young children introduced to the game of tennis. The program is tailored to teach and develop basic physical and mechanical abilities using many different games to keep it fun and interesting.
Tues & Thurs 5-5:45pm
$40 per session/once a week
$75 per session/twice a week

Hot Shots Ages 8-10 years
Designed for juniors seeking to learn the proper grips and techniques in a fun and positive environment. Forehand, backhand, serve and volley will be introduced.
Mondays 4:30-5:30pm

Rising Stars Ages 10-14 years Rising Stars is designed for juniors seeking to further improve their techniques and begin being introduced to match play.
Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm
$50/session

Junior Future Stars Program
Ages 10-18 Designed for the serious junior player. The program includes professional instruction and match-play strategy and conditioning designed to prepare juniors for
high-level tournament tennis.
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-6pm
$75 per session/once a week
$140 per session/twice a week

Adult Beginner Clinics
Introduction to the game and development of the stroke fundamentals. No registration necessary.
Equipment provided.
Wednesdays 7-8pm $12.50/class

Participants will need to bring a racket, tennis shoes, water bottle, sun block, cap or visor, and/or sunglasses.
